Public Installations - deanne sabeck

Public Art installations offer a great opportunity to an open dialogue between an artist and the public. In my Public Art work, I strive to create an installation which not only exists as an autonomous work of art, but also addresses itąs direct enviornment. I take into account the community it will serve, the space it will occupy, and the purpose of the facilty. It is from this perspective, that I create a piece that communicates an idea through a veil of mystery so that each viewers imagination is stimulated.
