Vestal Virgins and Altars
This installation was an exploration of the female persona. Installing the banners in rows facing each other (one vestal virgin accross from one seductive modern woman) recalls the placement of the statues of the Vestal Virgins in Rome and addresses both conflict and unity of opposing views of female sexuality.
