Passion and Brutality was a collaborative installation with steel sculptor, Jeffery Laudenslager. We used the concept of passion and brutality to explore the contradictory aspects of life, in particular the male/female relationship and how that translates into our work. My focal piece was "Passion", seven squares of steel with ground letters that reflect the light and have a kinetic quality. In front of the piece a veil on fresh red roses was strung which of course wilted as the show progressed. |
